A compact but stylish design. This unit supports a wide variety of file and video formats, has nearly all the standard connectivity options and is priced well at sub-$200.

It is absolutely amazing how technology has kept pace with our imagination. The age of information has ushered in technological marvels that a few decades ago wouldn’t have been thought of as possible. We can now share videos and images with our gadgets and devices virtually anywhere we are. Sure, there are limitations, but innovations and creativity surely come into the fray and help break them down.

Projectors have existed for quite some time. They usually come in large sizes that would be too cumbersome to lug around. Fortunately technology has now reached a point to make smaller models while retaining functionality and reliability. The EUG Mini Video Projector, made and sold by WEICAIDZ, is one solution to your display needs. At 8.3 x 3.1 x 5.7 inches, this projector is sufficiently portable so you can bring it anywhere you need. It also weighs at about 2.6 pounds, so you don’t have to worry about it being too heavy to carry around.

EUG Mini Video Projector

EUG Mini Video ProjectorIt packs quite a punch at 1,500 lumens ensuring brightness and clearness in a moderately lighted room and performs with vividness in darker rooms. The native resolution is set at 960 by 640, but it can also support the max resolution of 1920 by 1080. It also has an image size ranging from 20 inches to 80 inches, allowing you control over the projected screen dimension to your liking. It has also adapted the standard 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio most devices now use so you don’t have to worry about cut images. Suggested throw distance is at 1.18 to 2.28 meters (3.87 – 7.5 feet), so you get the largest screen size without losing image quality.

Using the latest in LED technology, the EUG Mini Video Projector promises no radiation without losing clarity or power. Its led bulbs can last up to more than 50,000 hours of projection and also sports instantaneous powering up or off in a matter of seconds.

Connectivity

EUG Mini Video ProjectorThe EUG Mini Video Projector offers several connectivity alternatives for your devices. Among them are HDMI, USB, VGA, AV, and Analog TV. These wide selections allow you to connect any of your devices and/or gadgets to this projector even without the need of a separate computer to connect it to. What’s more, the projector also functions as a power bank to charge your mobile devices. Functionality and compatibility, all in a powerful device you can put inside your bag.

The projector also features built-in speakers which can put out 35 decibels under normal conditions, a respectable output given the limitation of the product casing. Larger speakers cannot be accommodated so the internal speakers may not be enough to complement your needs. However, the EUG Mini Video Projector provides an alternative output for external speakers so you can play sounds and music at a louder level or use headphones.

The projector sports a power supply of AC 100-240V/50-60Hz and a power consumption of less than 60W and can be remotely controlled. It also features a unique design with 25 degrees zoom in and out to scale your screen to your liking. With its ±15° vertical keystone correction and 360° image shift function, you can position your projector virtually anywhere you would want to and still get images that are proportional and accurate.

Format Support

EUG Mini Video ProjectorThe projector also supports a plethora of file formats for direct projection. For audio files, MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG, AAC and WAV are supported. For image files, JPEG, BMP and PNG are supported. Lastly for video files, 3GP, AVI, MKV, FLV, MOV, MP4, MPG, VOB, MPG, and RMVB and their associated files, can be played directly. The projectors compatibility with these file formats allow you to directly play them via the USB port without need of playing them first on a separate device.

Despite the compatibility of the EUG Mini Video Projector of so many file formats, it is not advisable to use it for power point, word or excel presentations and such which need text display. It is however perfect for entertainment, video gaming and other performances.

Design

The EUG Mini Video Projector features a compact but stylish design of silver with black trimmings. Its design isn’t just for show but also considers functionality so it included mounting support, allowing front, rear, and ceiling mounting. The top panel contains the power button, indicator light and directional arrows in a simple row. The back panel contains the USB port, HDMI port, headphone port and VGA port making it very accessible without risk of crossing wires.
